Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Since I've just finished up playing Santa...

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Our wings are not tired

Those of you who have followed my Xmas eve posting habits for years will appreciate the gravity of this.

My one Xmas tradition has ended. The dive bar in La Mesa that I've been going to on Xmas eve for the past 10 years is gone. Apparently it closed a few months ago.

The status is NOT quo.

...but I'm here. At least.

I know I'm not a dive bar, but I'm here.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Crud, ND.

It is nice to have you here K.

I guess 2008 had to give me at least one more mild kick in the ribs by closing my bar.

On the other hand, I'm done with jury duty.

oh no! I was thinking about you and that bar earlier today, ND, as I passed a lot of closed places on my walk home...

Hard to believe I'd been a once a year regular there for a decade.

Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays to y'all.

ND, while that very much sucks, I see this as a golden opportunity to start a new tradition of your choosing.

And it may be the end of an era but given how bad this year's been to you, a change might be good, yes?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Try an uplifting tradition. Something with Pix? Maybe finding an orchard, some cider, and a couple blankets. I dunno. Sounds good to me.

As I look at my clock, I see, not only is it Xmas in my time zone, but I think all US times zones save Hawaii and parts of Alaska. And I think that makes it the better part of the world. So with that I say MERRY CHRISTMAS! PEACE ON EARTH! And with that, I go to bed.
