Ben: I didn't ask for any of this. I just want to be normal. Gronx: I wanted to be an underwear model. We play the hand we're dealt.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

He prescribed me Phenergan. Told me to take it and lie down. I did. None of the sleepy came.

The status is NOT quo.

But...isn't that just an anti-nausea drug? I happen to be really sensitive to it, so I end up listing it with my allergies on medical forms.

ETA: Never mind. Just looked it up here: [link] . Huh. Still not seeing how it's supposed to make you all better, but I don't have an MD.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

So, I didn't get a massage at SFO, but I did buy an upgrade to economy plus seating that came with a special, shorter security line.

It was worth every penny.

It was in combination with Keterolac (Toradol), but he knows that doesn't fix me. I dunno. I'm saving the one drug that I know sometimes works for vacation where there is no ER.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

He prescribed me Phenergan.

Alone, it's just anti-nausea for me. Paired with a not large amount of narcotic and it's blissful relief of pain and total dozing. It's the only time I've ever found codeine to be useful.

I'd kill to doze. That's what I've been needing all day. Instead I've just been grumpy. I may try the Stadol again.

Not being able to sleep when you really need it is such a frustrating feeling.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I could fall asleep right now if I wanted to... but I'm not off work for 5 more hours. So I'll drink a couple cokes to stay alert and end up wired in front of the computer until 3 or 4 am.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Magic beer? Still Magic.

(In case anyone was wondering)

Does it melt snow? That's the kind of magic I am in the market for.
