'Day' is a vestigial mode of time measurement based on solar cycles. It's not applicable. I didn't get you anything.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Continuing peace~ma to Israel and Gaza.

Now, in completely trivial decision-making, should I buy this jacket? I think I may almost be more in love with the description than the jacket itself. "James Dean meets Annie Oakley" sounds like, well, my idea of a girlfriend.

I am not normally someone who has any issues with insomnia, but someone sent the evil fairies last night, and though I tried to go to bed shortly after midnight, I ended up instead reading first one book...and then laying in bed at 3AM tossing and turning....and then reading another book...and finally going to sleep AFTER 5AM. WTF?!?!

This is not the way to have a successful "let's get stuff off my plate on the last day of work before vacation!" day. ARGH.

I've mostly dated women roughly my size. That's what happens when you date women, really. I think my current, N, is probably one of the shortest--I think she's about three inches shorter than me (OTOH, she can bench press my body weight). I also dated one girl who was probably about 5'10 and pretty broad shouldered. That was kinda fun (girls who are that tall and big seem much bigger than boys that size, who do not seem big at all). But mostly, within an inch or two of my average sized height (5'6).

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

This is my kind of xkcd: [link]

I must say I thought of you (and tommyrot) when I read that earlier.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

There's also this jacket, which comes with a zipout vest. I also have an REI owner refund that would make it almost the same price as the other.

Yeah, more or less. I think you've *met* my ex who's shorter than me but much stronger...

I think I only met your ex M...is she strong?

I like the other jacket better, it looks funner. Though I'm not sure I trust me to make ANY decisions on this little sleep...

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Both my ex gfs are Ms... and yes, the one you met is strong like bull.

I think the 2nd jacket might be more flattering, and I like the longer length.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Health ~mas to beth's MiL and Kathy's uncle.

And if may I ask peaceful passing~ma to my mother's uncle, who is dying for the past few weeks, but now seems to suffer and can hardly speak. He's gonna have surgery to fix his pacemaker (or, eh, something like it) on Saturday, but judging by today, I don't think they'll do it. He's 94, and lived a long, healthy, wonderful life, and it's just plain sucks to see him struggling like that; Esp. since he wants to get better just to complete one last scientific publication.

Lots of ~ma to you and yours, Shir. And strong wishes of peace for Gaza.

Hola Bitches.

I've been in the Bay Area since Saturday afternoon to do Xmas with family up here. Unfortunately, I spent most of the weekend curled up with a nasty stomach bug or something. I more or less slept through opening presents, family dinner, and completely skipped a party my folks had invited me to yesterday.

I was planning on skipping the party anyway, and seeing if any Bay-istas wanted to do a thing, but instead I curled up on the couch and slept off and on.

I feel a billion times better today, though my back is sore. I splurged, and spent $60 for a private car to the airport today, and I feel it was money well spent. If I can find a massage place in SFO, I may splurge on that, too.

Also, ~ma and hugs to all who need them, as I have skipped and know not who needs it.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Sean, that stomach thing seems to be making the rounds -- it sent me to the ER over the weekend because I couldn't keep anything down and was severely dehydrated.

Glad you're on the mend -- it's lousy.
