So there is something I can do, besides scream like a woman?

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Hubby and I were just looking at the cute Jilli-in-the-snow pictures, and he's now wondering how tall the Buffistas are in comparison to me. I'm 5'2", and Hubby's curious if any of the female Buffistas are more than 6 inches taller than I.

Coming a little late to the measurement party, but I'm 5ft 3. Or possibly 5ft 2. I don't usually think of myself as vertically challenged, but occasionally it is brought to my attention that actually, people are mostly taller than me - generally I consider this an aberration on their part, but apparently I'm actually somewhat hobbitlike, in the greater scheme of things.

Upon meeting Plei for the first time, I seem to remember her exclaiming "OMG you're so short!" or something. So apparently tallness isn't my best thing. Since I surround myself with seven year olds most days, however, I continue to go around believing myself to be quite tall.

Hey. New board.

Hubby's wondering if tall guys like short women. Because he certainly does.

I'm 6'3" and have liked women of a wide variety of heights. Shortest I actually dated is 5'0", shortest I had a crush on is 4'10". Tallest I've dated is a solid 5'10", though, so I don't think height is a major factor for me.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Wow. One year old boy saved, fed, protected by feral cats: [link]

I hope he grows up and uses his powers for good.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I'm extraordinary.

Yes, yes you are.

Why, oh, why am I awake?

I have no idea. I am, too.

I'm also lazy. Does anyone know how to filter one's friends page for one person? I have a LJ friend who is a prolific poster, and it's a bit distracting. I don't want to de-friend the poster, I just want my friends page back, and to go to that poster's LJ on occasion and see posts, including ones that would be locked to outsiders.

This would help with other LJ personalities who I want to keep up with, just not on a daily basis.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Daniel, you could create a custom friends group (Live Journal > Friends > Manage Custom Friends Groups). If you want to do a quick exclusionary filter, move everyone on your flist into the friends group en masse then go back and move Captain Chatty back to the "not in group" list. When you go to your friends page, there should be a little drop down menu in the navigation bar. Just select the filter you want, and go from there.

I use mine to strip communities from my flist if I don't have time to read everything.

“Not dead yet!”

gronklies.

This is one of those mornings where I get up and admire the hell out of ita-- I've had a low-grade, persistent migraine for the better part of a day and I'm exhausted and pretty much hating everyone and everything.

Still, there are cabana boys to post and Christmas dessert to choose.

And touching on the height conversation again, I've always been attracted to tall, somewhat lean men, and yet I ended up with the antithesis of that in RL. Funny how things like that work out.

But first, more coffee.

Our wings are not tired.

yawn I do love not having to get up to take kids to school. Yay!

I am 5'5" and DH is near 6'8". He says 6'7-3/4" which is good because he can clear most door frames. I don't notice how tall he is except when I see pictures of us or when he is chatting to someone his size.

I've been attracted to a wide variety of body types. DH is instantly smitten when he sees any woman over 6'.

Sorry about the headache, Barb. I rarely get them. I don't know how I would cope with constant pain. I'd surely be meaner.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

There is no morning kindergarten at the school my mom works at today. The kids are going to be so disappointed to miss Mom's last day of work.
