Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Teppy, you didn't get sick on purpose. I understand not wanting to be taken care of, but I suspect that you would step up and be caretaker girlfriend if The Boy had been the sick one this time around. Also, take drugs.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I love eggs over easy. Yum. And soft boiled, too. Gimme them yolks!

I have to say I'm boggled by how many Buffistae had to put their houses on the market this year when the market tanked. Plei, Suzi, Herself, Cash... It's brutal.

Our experience wasn't fun, but we were LUCKY in that we had the company buyout and the cash on hand to pay to get it ready to sell and to carry two mortgages for a bit. We got ours on the market just on the cusp of the collapse so it could have been much, much worse.

The relocation company still hasn't sold it--even though they've reduced the price to $25K lower than they paid us for it. It's listing for just $6K over what we paid for it nearly 10 years ago.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Hey there, SLNRLBF! Season's greetings to you, mate.

Teppy, I don't blame you for being embarrassed to hell, because this is a decidedly unsexy level of intimacy - but don't beat yourself up about it. These things DO happen. I'm sure that if your roles were reversed, you'd just be feeling bad for The Boy, and you wouldn't be blaming the poor sod for his illness.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Seconding what Laura said.

Do you put the eggs in the water and bring it to a boil or drop the eggs into boiling water?

Our wings are not tired.

Eggs in cold water and bring to a boil. I do the 4 minute thing too.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Put the eggs in cold water and bring it to a boil.

In lieu of latkes I'm eating hash brown patties.

Tep, I'm sorry you're having all the horrible GI distress.

Maybe just limit things to dry toast for a while, eh?

It's cold and rainy here. I've put brandy and kahlua into my coffee and I'm listening to my (quite excellent I must say) Swingtime Santa mix.

Emmett's homework is done, including extra credit timeline.

Aw, Teppy. That sucks. I've been there. Having someone there that can take care of you and deal with those sorts of things is a good thing, though.

I knew if DH could cope with that, he could help me through any sort of physical problem.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

So eggs in cold water, bring to a boil, turn off heat, wait 4 minutes, nom nom nom? Or boil for four minutes, nom nom nom?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I HAZ MAGIC BEER.

A whole case!

Which is still sitting in the trunk of my car.

I can't leave cans or bottles of anything in the car or garage now. We had five cans of soda explode where they were stored in the garage. Too cold.

I should know enough to transfer that stuff into the house by the first of December.
