But that's just my point! You she obeys! She obeys you! There's obeying going on right under my nose!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

today is my estranged sister's birthday. It sucks being reminded of our broken relationship every time I write the date on something. Oddly it helps to remember the day she left me behind at kindergarten. Kind of the "she was never right for you anyway" of sisters.

Mostly lurking...

So much ~ma for your aunt, askye.

I think I stole everyone's oomph. I baby-proofed mom's house today, including, but not limited to taking all of the crystal to the basement and crawling around at his level to see what I could find to get into. Then I played with baby muchly, including introducing him to Finding Nemo, which we actually watched about 45 minutes of with him cuddled up to me. I seem to be the favorite in the household, other than daddy. I'm sure that will change once Uncle Jon gets here, but I'll take it for now!

Oh, and I bought us sleds to play in the snow tomorrow! YAY!

Now I sleep. I hope. I'm in this tiny room off of the kitchen that is FREEZING (though we brought a space heater in that keeps tripping the fuses). Plus, TINY. I'm on a single-sized air mattress, and it just barely fits in the room. But, it sure beats driving back and forth every day, so I'll take it.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

My oomph got locked in my car along with my purse. Fortunately, I had a nice neighbor who fed me tea until the locksmith could pop the lock. I left the condo at 2:30 to get groceries, I didn't get home until 6:00. At least the roads were clear!

If you're late all the time, do you value punctuality in others or do you think it doesn't matter?

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I've been running around stocking up on groceries. In snow and ice. With front wheel drive. Probably does not count as oomph. I'm just happy not to have been one of the Washingtonians who spun out and ended needing a tow. So whether I had oomph or not at least I avoided oops. Have dug out driveway, so I can get out in an emergency. I have kitty litter to apply, cause that seems less environmentally damaging that sand or salt.

The status is NOT quo.

Um, hm. I just got a card from someone, and I have no idea who he is or how I know him. He has a daughter, apparently. Am I really this absent-minded?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

vw, you are a very good auntie.

TCG saw the woman upstairs for the first time since the door incident. She says her son accidentally forced the door open. How does one accidentally force a door open? He hardly looks that strong.
