o_a, the pain relief isn't what I'd hoped for, but this is a diagnostic procedure as well as one to provide relief. So something should be deducible (deductable???) from the results either way.

Just not looking up or down without torso motion (moving my eyes to the edge of their range hurts my haid, stupidly enough).

Good god, my ass BURNS at the injection site. That's an odd feeling.

But better than agonizing pain, so I call it a win.

I remember shocking the nurse when I had back surgery because I was debating between the pain of the shot and the pain from the surgery.

The morphine from the pump gave me the itchies, and so they pumped in liquid Benadryl which I could FEEL going in, and god that was bizarro.

So, question for the hivemind? How many people have received party favors when attending a baby shower?

Erin, could you taste the Benadryl? For some reason I can taste it when they infuse it IV. But I feel all the stuff going in--I can fairly well tell the difference between all four of the drugs in my cocktail.

Jilli, I have almost always gotten favors at baby showers.
