Well, if we followed the recipe...should be cake. A demon-violence-free-zone cake.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I would personally name the Goodbye and Good Riddance thread for 2008 "Fuck you and the horse you rode in on."

I'm not sure I'd like people to see the word "Fuck" in large font at the top of my screen.

Perhaps we need a euphemism: "Frack you and the horse you rode in on."

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2008: "...and the horse you rode in on."

“Not dead yet!”

I like Daniel's suggestion!

And when visiting Cambridge, stay at the fabulous Horse U. Rhode Inn.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm so sorry to hear about your back, Teppy. You poor thing going from one bad thing to another. Have you been able to go to work at all?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Back-ma, Teppy. And good to see your fonts again.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

No panic attacks since then, but I chalk that up to the lovely calming effects of the flexiril/percocet cocktail.
Better living through chemistry. I wonder if the FDA will get an application for that cocktail to combat the panic attacks? Either way, good to see your pixels Steph.

Ah, backs. They have to be proof of evolution, because if God did this to us intentionally, then He's got a damned whacked sense of humor.
IIRC, our backs haven't evolved, and that is the problem. There structure is for quadruped action, not biped action. Which is why there is a lot more lower back pain than upper back pain, what with the curve that happens in the lumbar area. What? Me? Back issues? Nope, wouldn't know a thing about it. Or being walking on 4's. Not at all.

Hey Pix, you ok over there? I hope work is calm for you today. Been thinking about you all day.

Hil, how is the shoulder today?

The status is NOT quo.

I'm leaving work now to go to the hospital to say goodbye in case the surgery they are about to do to try to remove the tumor doesn't go well. They have no way of knowing if the tumor is malignant until they remove it. If it isn't, she will recover fine. If it is, she'll probably have 6-8 weeks of comfortable time before we would have to put her to sleep. They will call me during the surgery if it is so bad that we need to just let her go.

Our wings are not tired.

Pix, I will be hoping hard that the surgery goes well. Take care, babe.
