Maybe we are all head-explodey, but I really think it is far more important in this thread to support each other than to give the benefit of the doubt to those who make our heads explode.
I support both the supportive-being, and the multiple perspectives-giving, with the proviso that any given person needing support and/or perspectives is encouraged to ask for and get what they need more of at any given time.

Kristin, I'm so sorry. Zoe is a lovely dog.
Just got a call from the vet. Zoe's blood work came back clean, so that's a positive. She'll have an ultrasound at some point tomorrow and then we'll have a clearer picture on what the situation is.
2008 had to get another kick in on my little family this year.
