Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Oh, ugh, askye. At least that's one good thing about having a laundry room, there's usually multiple working appliances. Yay?

Which reminds me, someone remind me in 10 minutes when the House rerun is over to go put my laundry in the dryer.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Ugh. More wine.

Never a bad idea. Well, okay, occasionally a bad idea. But not here.

And, vw, do what feels *right* to you.

I'm totally going against the grain here, and forgive me.

No matter the advice, never apologize for this, java. We've got a hivemind for a reason and I, for one, appreciate the differing points of view.

I sort of feel like we're forgetting that people ARE head-explodey.

So very much so. I know I am head-explodey. I am.

Oh, and pigs are delicious. Mmm, pork.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Maybe we are all head-explodey, but I really think it is far more important in this thread to support each other than to give the benefit of the doubt to those who make our heads explode.

Especially bacon. Mmmm bacon.

(While I do believe in giving the benefit of the doubt to bacon, my post was in response to Cass. In case anyone wondered.)

Thrive to spite them

update -- washer problem resolved. The circuit was tripped or something. I fixed it..

SLNRLBF helped trouble shoot.

I actually do have some money set aside and I'm trying to decide if I just need to bite the bullet and buy a new washer. I may watch this winter and see if there are any good deals and then get one. It would make my life sooo much easier.

Right now my laundry routine is -- wash a small load (in this case my flat sheet, a towel, and a t shirt..and I think I over did it), let it finish it. Run the spin cycle. Run it again. And then maybe again. hang up all my clothes.

Put things like sheets and towels in the dryer. Run the dryer twice sometimes three times so things get dry.

Bacon can run off and sleep with my best friend and I would still forgive it, if it meant eating bacon.

Which, um, sounds wrong typed out like that.

And I am totally supportive of vw. Just I know *I* fuck up too.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

SailAweigh, did you remember to put your clothes in the dryer?

Thrive to spite them

also I have gone back to eating meat. I almost typed meating eat... I may be tired.

I am not a good vegetarian. I ate very poorly and was tired all the time, I experiemented and started eating meat again... mostly eating out which meant a little more variety in my meals, and amazingly I wasn't almost falling asleep in the afternoons at work.

But now I'm back to eating a not so great but a bit more varied diet.

What was happening is I'd be tired, and then I'd make something easy something starchy low protien and well not really healthy. And then I'd feel tired, and so I wouldn't cook right and..well it was a cycle. I'm going to try to get my energy back up and then start cooking more. I forget how easy it is once I do it. I just... I dunno...no energy.

Just I know *I* fuck up too.

Me, too. Oh, me, too.

Bacon can do serious crime and get arrested time and time again, and I'd bail it out every. single. time. just for the merest chance to eat bacon ever again.
