Meara is a cute late night IMer. I am mildly stoned on cold meds and feeling a little brain tipsy. Amazing my thumbs still can wirkthus iPhone thingy. Mostly clearly. Autocorrect helps. Am hovering between incoherent and deeply profound, I'm sure. Think incoherent is winnign. Probably. Oops.
Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Go to bed, crazy Americans.
IOmeN, I just emailed the place I volunteer at, letting the great people there know that due to uni and having to work and etc. I don't think I'll be able to finish a task they gave me.
This might be the time to say that in order to accomplish this task, IMHO, they need someone in full time job for 2 months. I was given 3 months when I told them I have 2-4 free hours per week. So I don't feel too bad, but I'll do my best about that task and then stop volunteer there until my second semester, in Feb./March. But it still sucks I can't do more for this place.
Edit: Can't. Spell.
Going tongry to go to sleep now. Have a good day, Shir! Night to other stateside ffistas. Sweet dreams everyone!
Night, Kristin!
Night Pix. Shir, I'm heading to bed myself. Don't be too hard on yourself. University takes a lot of time. It's best to get it right the first time. When complete, you can then apply that knowledge to change the world.
Night, omnis!
(I'm tempted to continue to say good night to y'all, and I just mumbled the last lines of a famous children's book here: "Nighty night, moon! Nighty night, uncle helicopter!").
Damn, I got a reply back to my email.
They're asking how long will it take me to complete the task.
Sigh.
(((meara)))
Shir, write them back and ask them to please assign it to someone else. You have had more than enough stressful things to deal with in your life.
Yeah, I wrote them it'll take me another month, but that month will have to happen in my second semester.
Shir, I hope they get a clue. It's amazing how often people think that if they keep asking, an answer they don't like will magically change into the answer they wanted.
In other news, I think this counts as a big whoopsie.
