Due to an unfortunate twist of fate, the guy who my sister M has chosen over her family is my roommate D's dad, S. S has had a bunch of stuff stored here at the house since before my sister moved out. He left a message on D's phone asking when he can come get his stuff. This makes me less hopeful that M will be seeking contact with her family anytime soon. Should I share this news with my mom, knowing it will upset her greatly? I can't decide if she'll be more upset if she finds out I withheld it from her.
I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and gloat' that gets me every time.

This is interesting. My TV has sound, but no picture. The Tivo menus are showing up fine, just not the actual TV picture. I'm gonna guess it's a cable problem.
