read it. did not love it, but I get why people do. I thought it was really slow. and I like my vampires -- to have edge. However, I may find myself reading the second book. I've been told it is better -- faster paced, anyway. It is not great, but it is candy.
So a friend of mine is pushing me to read Twilight. Thoughts anyone?

I'm like Beth. I could see the appeal. And it was an easy read. I think its good that I read it just cultural-awareness-wise. I have zero urge to read the others.
