Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

They let me out of the glucose test the 2nd pregnancy. I told them it was gross and I already knew I would flunk and had already changed my diet. They actually listened to me and just subjected me to weekly blood draws to monitor it.

Bobby liked the stuff when he did his test. Weirdo. I hope the bruise heals up quickly, Hil.

Long day, long week. Tired and glad it is now called weekend.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Frank, if your relatives needs a place to stay in Jerusalem, they're welcomed. No spare room, but we'll manage.

omnis, re: desk saga: see that tagline of yours? Whenever in doubt of doing something "selfish", as in "making your life better", look at it.

Hell, I'll propose my services as a cartoon devil on the shoulder anytime.

Health~ma to all who needs it, and if you could send some to my mom as well, I'd aprriciate it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Health-ma to your mother, Shir!

TCG just came home from work with a bunch of roses to cheer me up because I'm sick.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Aw. TCG is a total keeper. Good thing you're marrying him :)

move out and draw fire

There are entire Bible things stores. Go in and throw yourself on the mercy of the clerk.

See, this is what I was hoping to avoid.

Thanks WS! That looks awesome. Hopefully I can find a copy (in a Bible things store) locally as I have to have the gifts wrapped and under the tree Monday am.

Fuck cancer indeed.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Sigh. Vegan food blog I read had a post about chipotles, with a recipe for chili. One of the comments:

chipotle sucks, its main stream taco bell abomination

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

despite a cold, I:

went thru tons of paperwork deciding what to keep, what to shred and what to recycle.

paid bills

folded a load of laundry

put a load of laundry in the wash

shredded some papers

sorted the clothes in the bedroom and picked up enough so that we can change the bed.

brought one box out to the garage

90 % of the work was done sitting down, and the standing was very shortperiods of time

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Sigh. The "War on Christmas" arguments are starting again. I need somewhere to hide. (Kinda need somewhere to hide from myself, because I know that I'm going to end up getting into one of these arguments, and trying to actually make points, when what I really want to do is pretty much tell everyone to STFU. And then I'll get angry and frustrated, and I've got enough real things to be frustrated about that I don't need to borrow trouble by getting involved in blog comment arguments.)
