Mal: Cut it out. Job's not done until we're back on Serenity. Zoe: Sorry, sir. Didn't mean to enjoy the moment.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Thanks again. I haven't had anyone to talk to this about, as I was the first one in my family that they told. Thanksgiving dinner was just SO not the time to make this sort of announcement. I think by now they've told other people in the family, but I'm not going to assume anything until I know for sure. It was nice to get a chance to get it out somewhere.

And again. Seriously. Fuck cancer.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Oh, {{{{{{Frank}}}}}} I'm so sorry.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

So sorry, Frank. Fuck cancer sideways.

I'm getting the pig!

GC, I'm so happy for you. YAY!

Frank, that's awful. If we can do anything to help, let us know. I mean, we have Buffistas everywhere and some of us have extra rooms for a guest or two. I can't imagine that traveling around the world is cheap, so. (I realize it would be a complete strangers situation... but I figured I'd throw the idea out there anyway.)

Frank, so sorry. And I add to the Fuck Cancer sentiments. Did we get the t-shirts made of that yet? I do like his approach. Might as well enjoy what's left if there isn't much treatment. But I'm all for quality not quantity.

You're not really going to get her educational games, are you omnis? Jesus, man, why not just buy her socks.
Ha! Funny, cuz apparently she has a habit of pulling her socks apart in one long string, so my sis has said that is high on the list of things to get her. I'm not one for buying people clothes, especially kids. I have no clue about sizes, fashion, colors or what not. blah.

But YA I'm thinking educational games. The kid has WAY too much fluff games already. She screams that she wants x, gets it, plays with it for 10 minutes, and never touches it again. So I usually get her books. Last year I got her a real nice childrens dictionary, and she OBLITERATED it. Apparently she carries books by one cover, and they just come apart at the seam, and then she starts pulling on the little strings (are we sensing a theme?) until they are a collection of glued pages. So I figure, if she manages to get a NDS, and I get her educational games, my sister will make her play those, and the gift is used.

Nicole is wise, and I add to it. I got a sleeper sofa couch. If he's stopping in Dallas let me know.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This is the crux.

my sister will make her play those

Yeah, see, your sister is not going to enforce educational game time on Nintendo.

She'll make her read a book if she's going to be enforcing anything.

You know what's cool on DS? The Lego Star Wars and Indiana Jones and Batman games.

I concur. Fun games!

Our wings are not tired.

Frank, if he's headed to France, let me know. My friend have a place on the Channel that is right by the beach. They'd either let him stay for free or very close to it (they live in Oxfordshire, England; this is their vacation apartment I'm talking about). I am really sorry to hear the news.
