Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You may be right, though right now I'd sooner lop my arm off than take another class!

I remember feeling like this a year ago. Now I wanna go back to school...pathetic.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I think I'd like to take some dance classes. Really learn the foxtrot, tango, that kind of stuff. Just for fun.

For a more intellectual pursuit, I'd like to take some classical archaeology courses.

If you could take one class right now, just for yourself, what would you study?

Intro to Physics, or maybe Remedial Algebra, to find out if my brain can handle the math.

For pure wallowing pleasure, I'd like my Ancient History class with Professor Duffy from college again, and this time I'm armed to have rousing debates on his conspiratorial points of view.

Oh yeah-- I'd definitely like to find a Latin ballroom class.

There needs to be a class called Karate for Feisty Fat People or something. Judo for the Ginormous. Something that lets us pudgy pugnacious people beat on things.

This post brought to you by cold drugs and the letter Alliteration.

Because books.

One class? Probably, weirdly, anatomy. Or a film class.

I do this 3 times a week. Added bonus is when I get to spar my boy. Legal beatings - YAY!

Argh. Went to work in Portland yesterday. Had to get up v. early. Was tired. Got home at 4:30PM ish, after getting on earlier flight, which was nice. But had migraine, and was tired. Fell into bed. Slept 4 hours. Got up, called girl. Stayed awake an hour. Went back to sleep. Felt like crap. Tossed and turned. Thought about getting up. Phone rang at 9AM with Stupid Work Drama. Have been running around ever since. Head still hurts. Am now on teleconference about my options for next year's lame-ass health care plans for work. Someone shoot me?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

In no particular order: Tango, cooking, drawing, sculpting in clay. I miss my middle school art class: those big giant plastic bags full of blocks of gray clay that you'd cut big chunks off off with a nice thick wire. The clean heavy feel of that fat slice of clay lifting off into your hands, what a big slice of nothing it was, how it could be absolutely anything by the end of the hour. Mmmmmmm.

“Not dead yet!”

Gave in and ate. Stew was nom nom nom. I made a pot of stuffing/dressing with monster amounts of garlic and beef broth and served the stew over-- sort of like a modified couscous.

Everything was falling apart-- couldn't tell the mushrooms from the meat.
