Thanks everyone. Brody's gone in for surgery now. They've found bleeding on the surface of his brain. We won't hear more for some hours now. My sister and her husband are holding up so far, but it's hard. My dad's a bit wrecked.
Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

Brody's out of surgery now. It went well - they don't think he's in any more immediate danger. But they can't say yet whether he's suffered any lasting damage. Thanks again to everyone.
