It is a day of bliss here at work. I've talked to three people so far, and I'm watching Bones on Hulu.

I have achieved pie! A strawberry rhubarb, since I'm all pumpkined out (we had traditional and pumpkin cheesecake last night.)

I didn't attempt any serious shopping today. I was going to go to the Barnes and Noble next to the mall, because the Starbucks in there has toasted marshmallow lattes, but the parking lots were insane. So I made a run by the post office, the grocery store and a Staples for printer supplies. It's scary out there.

mmmmm I have tomorrow off.

This is possible. I will hopefully only have to stay for one preview tomorrow which means I'll be home in the late afternoon. I'm sure Kristin will check in eventually and give input.

You're more than welcome to come by, Laga. The only thing we may be out of it stuffing. Everything else we have in abundance, including pie (though none of my homemade pumpkin pie...I have ingredients to make another, and I may just do that. I just ate a big ol' plate of leftovers. Nom nom nom. I'm having to fight the kitten off from them, however. Man is he a tenancious little brat.

We also still have an untouched ham to eat. I should have made a sandwich before I left. I know there was at least one small container of stuffing. Hmm, I might have to pick up some more stuffing, that's a thanksgiving leftover staple.

I tried making an eggless pumpkin pie this year. It didn't work too well, but I think I can see why it didn't work, and I can try it again later. Needs less pumpkin and more milk, I think, though then I'll have to adjust the arrowroot and agar. I haven't baked with agar much, so I don't really have a good feeling for how it works and how to adjust it.

Cool beans! I don't think I've seen you guys since Omnis's going away party. I'll give you a call tomorrow.

Even after guests took leftovers, we were left with what I consider perfect amount - enough to get us through the weekend without much cooking (basically we will need to cook more veggies), but little enough that we will have zero or close to zero Monday.

Also, sj, I will smite them for you. I should shop with you sometime. It would be bad for the other people, but good for you.

Ha! We should definitely do that. TCG gets so aggravated with people, but he is usually also amused by hearing my constantly mutter under my breath, "I will not kill anyone today."

My mother always makes way too much food. So, everyone leaves with a lot of leftovers. I'm not expecting to have to cook until Monday, and we might have to freeze some of it so that it doesn't go bad before we can get to all of it.
