I read/heard that the most Presidential think GWB has done in office was the bailout bill. Decisive action, compromise, accomplishment.
The pundit was asking where the hell *this* guy has been for eight years.
Made it sound like Bush had been released from one of Heinlein's puppet masters.
"The formerly hag-ridden President seems to be recovering well, we only regret we hadn't caught the parasite sooner."
Hmm, that explains this: [link]
I received a friends requst on Facebook today from someone whose name I didn't recognize and Facebook is saying we have no mutual friends. Did anyone else get one of these today?
I've gotten them before, sj, usually from someone local. just ignore it (unless you want to friend them of course)!
I got one the other day from some dude in...I forget where but it was an Asian country. I ignore all those.
PSA: I don't think I would ever just ignore a buffista so if I do/have, it's because I don't/didn't recognize your name.
I kept hearing this chant in my mind, "yes we can". There's an air of expectation in town.
there was a group of kids from the day care center chanting "yes we can!" in high, childish voices as they walked past my window. So cute.

Now that I am on my computer I see that many of the persons friends are European women. So, I'm thinking they confused me with one of the million other people with my name in the world and ignored it.

Very much this. Just e-mail me or mention it here if I ignore someone here.
I think it's another historic opportunity. I'm not sure I can stand it if this one gets squandered too.
Yes. Me too. The difference is Obama has a history of listening to people, pulling their stories out of them, and using that information to form policy. Yay for grass roots organizations! The Shrub, no so much.
I think I forgot to mention it yesterday, but I have stripey red highlights in my hair. I love them, and I hope they don't fade too quickly.
No one will believe you without photographic evidence, missy. (And I will continue to tell you this each time you tease us with fabulous new dresses and stripey red highlights!)
Omnis, cinnamon sticks are more for things like spiced hot cider and other liquids such as sauces and fruit compote.
So, it was another example of "never shop when hungry"? I can't grate it, pulverize it, something-it? Of course, I probably don't have the right equipment to do that. Somehow taking the hammer in the tool kit to smash the cinn-stick doesn't sound appetizing, or practical.
