this infidelity fail feels like an urban legend to me but it's not on Snopes and it's difficult to google. Does anybody know if it really happened?

Tom accepted an offer and got an offer letter as a pdf- hard copy to follow in the mail, hopefully tomorrow. I am certainly thankful this Thanksgiving. Thanks, everyone, for your ~ma and support.
