This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It took me a minute to get to that because I really DO like this woman so much and just could not conceive of such a manipulation. Sadly, the strategy will work and she'll get what she wants without taking responsibility for it. Just makes me sad.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Aw, crud, bonny. That just sucks.

~ma for Teddy. Poor guy. And poor Fred and Hubs!

if there is any decision~ma laying about, Tom can use it. I is having a tough time deciding between the non profit and private sector jobs.

It really does Andi. My whole reason for living is to help people get past the blocks that cause them to do things like that. It's so liberating and so much more practical. I guess my sadness comes from knowing that I create the safest, most productive environment possible...not to mention bringing talent to the table. When healing is right THERE and someone doesn't take it, I feel terrible for them. And to be really honest, a little offended. DUDE. Don't do this to yourself, you know?

Decision ~ma for Tom. This may or may not be something he already knows: the private sector company is one we work with and because of our budget cuts we will have to cancel a lot of orders with. That may not matter to the job he was offered at all, but it is what I thought of when I read your LJ.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I just bought a few apples. Hmmm, need to learn how to make apple pie.

There is a reason for the phrase "easy as pie..."

From Cooks.com:

Basic Apple Pie

6 apples, peeled & sliced
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. orange juice

Mix all ingredients together in large bowl. Turn into a
pastry lined pie pan and dot with butter. Place top crust
over and seal edges. Cut vents. Bake at 425 degrees until
done.

There are some pretty good pre-made pie crusts out there now, and you might as well go simple with your first pie.
