I began the process of giving notice at ECN yesterday, effective in January. That seemed under control. And they needed a long offramp. So, well and good. Until today. When the general freakout began. Whoopsie.
No idea what the future holds. I hope some really cool things do happen, but I am also excited to just see the light at the end of this tunnel. I also hope I will maintain the connections that I have with people there - they are good people. Caught in a craxy world.
But yeah. Thought I should inform the bitches. Since you guys have kept me going for most of the past two years. My thanks - I truly couldn't have done it without you.

I discovered a new squick last night -- IV needles. Other sorts of needles, like vaccinations and blood tests, I'm not thrilled with, but I can deal with them. IV, on the other hand, I was crying, grabbing onto the side of the bed, and using pretty much everything I had to convince myself not to jump up and run away. The entire time that thing was in my arm, I was thinking "take it out take it out take it out NOW."
