Happy Birthday, Jilli!!!
Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yay, Amy, that's fantastic! I'm going to make a note of it for my mom's bookstore.
Happy birthday, Jilli!
{{WindSparrow}} Vibing for good meds.
Matt, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your cousin and all the family are in my prayers.
If you were here, I'd make you some of my honey-lemon-ginger-sage-cinnamon tea.
That sounds very soothing for coughs, Shir. Right now, I'm not sure I want to swallow anything, not even the Tylenol/Advil combo the nurse practitioner advised. Strep test is negative, and she offered to give me a script for an antibiotic anyway, but we decided it would be wiser to wait a day or two to see if it gets better.
I've got some Campbell's Chicken Noodle soup that I'm trying to work up the nerve to eat.
It really sucks about your friend with the new diagnosis of cancer, Shir. Much ~ma for beating it.
And I forgot to say, congratulations, Amy!
Thanks, guys! ::basks::
JZ, just FYI, it's a Harlequin SuperRomance.
Congratulations Amy!
And happy birthday Jilli!

My condolences to Matt and Beverly. Much strength and peace to you and your families.

Happy birthday, Jilli! You make forty look fabulous!
Congratulations, Amy! I can't wait to read this one.
Am I crazy for wanting to tour the White House, and happy that it will be during the Obama reign, even if they haven't had time to personalize it too much yet.
You may want to contact your Senator's office now. I suspect that they are not taking tour requests, but if you talk to the office now, it may help when you call later.
White House tours are not available for individuals. You must have a group of at least 10, and those tour slots fill very quickly. The White House Visitor Center is open 7 days a week; no tickets are necessary.

edit: Andi, I hope you feel better soon. Sore throats are a pain in the neck. (Hee, hee.)
Amy, my mom's bookstore sells a shitton of romances, including Harlequins, but she herself is not a romance reader and never quite knows what to say when customers come in looking for new recs. She's come to respect the literary power of the Buffistas quite a bit, and she'll be glad to know that one of the new titles was written by one of her daughter's invisible friends.
Maria!!!
Awesome, JZ!
I SEE A MARIA!!!
