I'm glad Taz is eating, even if he is a stubborn little thing.
TCG had his eyes dialated for the first time today and it's freaking him out because he doesn't know what to do with himself home on a Saturday when he can't read.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Day in teh ER is no good....but I'm kinda just glad it was not for YOU, VW!!!
I went to the march for marriage equality, here in Seattle. I woke up early with a migraine, and managed to get up and take some meds and go back to sleep, so when I woke up half an hour AFTER the rally was supposed to start, I figured I just wouldn't go. But I texted my girl (who was supposed to have football practice), and she told me her practice was canceled because of it, and did I want to go? So we hustled over there (it was at a park right near my house), and indeed, it was functioning on gay time (shocking!). And even though we got there 90 minutes late, the speakers were just starting. And it was PACKED, man. There were THOUSANDS of people there. THOUSANDS. I was so glad we went. I mean, I kinda think there are more important issues in the world, but...it was pretty damn cool.
We marched along for a while, but left the march and didn't go all the way to the end (we, um, went to brunch instead. Bad gays). But it was still pretty damn awesome. We kept being shocked at the number of people. Like, we thought we were near the end of the march when we ducked into a place for food...and then people kept walking by. It was impressive.
I was going to go to the rally here, but it was raining pretty heavily and there were tornado warnings, so I skipped it.
I forget to say, poor CBD!
cats are triksy.
there were a bunch of protest the passage of prop 8 rallies around here today. but floor tiling precluded anyof our involvement....
poor CBD and VW
Really, there are better places to spend time than the ER
Nora, are you trying to switch him off the dry food? Because I would think having a cat that prefers it would be a bonus.
because of his bladder issues, he's been on the wet food since we adopted him- that's why he craves the dry food. It's been forbidden fruit, even though we have been going the half & half route for a while now.
Nora, one thing you can do to offset the dry food badness, is to add liquid to the wet food. I often add water to the cats' food, just on general purposes, and especially after they've had some dry food (which is generally given for a treat, rather than on a regular basis).
Ouchies, CBD. Yes, vw, nobody likes a vague disclaimer warning.
Has any one else ever done business with T-shirt Philospher [link] ? The shirts I ordered for Daniel's birthday have not come yet. Now, I can kinda see how it might be one of those things where it just takes 4-6 weeks for the shirts to be made and shipped out, but no where on the site that I have seen specifies that, so I just do not know when to expect them to ship out. When I sign in on my account, it says the order was approved but not shipped, and that is all.
thanks guys! I's birthday was good - am tired now. ::passes cake to bitches:: more in the am.
