And I stared and stared at the notice as we whizzed up to the 18th floor, thinking: "The pool people? The people who clean the pool? Surely not the lady who is the security guard type person on duty at the pool? Surely not the people who live NEXT to the pool - I mean, they're jammy buggers! They have lovely apartments next to a lovely pool! Why would they need my used clothes?"

Not quite sure why I woke up at 3 in the morning. Probably getting back to bed soon. Trying to decide whether to open my birthday present from my aunt and uncle now, or wait until later. (I'm pretty sure it's the DVD of Hairspray. I already opened my present from my parents -- iPod Touch. I haven't had a chance to set it up yet, so I'm mostly just staring at it and going, "Oooh, shiny.")
