Does chicken cost more for lawyers than it does for teachers?
Possibly. It most certainly costs more for weddings. I have actually done the experiment of pricing the same events and flowers, one described as a wedding and one as an anniversary party. The wedding was quoted as considerably more expensive.
Trudy, that's wonderful news!
Omnis...what part of Florida will you be coming to?
Huh? Omnis? Florida? Buzzah?
one described as a wedding and one as an anniversary party
"This isn't a wedding! It's our Minus One Anniversary!"
Bridezilla tax?
some of that, and also I think that it is perceived that people (i.e. Daddy) will pay more.
I was shocked by how reasonable our wedding caterer was. The site required we use her so really she could have charged the moon, but instead because the site drove so much business to her her prices were seriously 1/3rd of what the other caterers demanded. Plus the food was good.
I'm glad things are looking better for your little friend, Trudy, although coughing up shells does not strike me as a good time. If there was an occasional gold doubloon, there's be something to look forward to.
Hee! Love the thought of the gold doubloon!
I think about how people with shrapnel or gravel in their skin have it come out for
years.
At the moment, my throat is very raw from having been sick last night (reason #1 I'd never cut it as a bulimic)and I can't even imagine the pain of something actually scraping across that. It's chilling.
Shells, brrr. Though it could make a kick-ass Show and Tell display if he could stand to keep them. "Well *my* shell collection came out of me."
