Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

Spike ,'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

As I said on Facebook, GOBAMA!!!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

TCG keeps trying to convince me that it is all over and Obama has it, but I just can't let go of my fear of how wrong it could go.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Things are looking very good for Obama right now, but I don't think I'm going to relax until McCain concedes.

Because books.

I just realized how bad I am at math. (Again.) With regard to Natter rolling, not the election results.

Maybe I should actually *be* drinking ...

“Not dead yet!”

Maybe I should actually *be* drinking ...

Can't hurt.

If it wasn't for the fact that the naprosyn completely tore up my stomach over the last couple of weeks, I might just be havin' a spot o'the Good Captain.

Thrive to spite them

I'm not going to believe it until Thursday. Or maybe Friday. Or hell I may not even believe it until the inaguration day.

If Obama wins it will be the first time in 8 years I've watched an entire Presidential speech.

We could have a President who can speak again!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

What should I be drinking? I have cranberry vodka, plain vodka and rum. I have Coke to mix with the rum, but no decent mixer for the vodka. Ideas? I'm saving the champagne for later.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Not even 2000? 'Cuz that one wrecked me.

Me, too. And then, in 2004, I felt like I had been kicked in the gut while rolling around on the floor in extreme pain.

I'm cautiously hopeful, but I can't take another beating while down. I'm not gonna believe it until more votes are in, a concession speech has been made, and the Supreme Court stays the hell out of it.
