[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

There are so many people voting for the first time today - this is the first time in I can't remember how long that I've been excited about an election. I couldn't get to sleep last night - that's how excited I am.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I didn't want to risk being late to work so I came in early today so I can go right to the polls when I get off at 6. I finally finished filling in my sample ballot last night. I don't know how you early voters decide so quick. I was still flip-flopping on prop 2 and Measure R yesterday.

People are excited. I'm worried about the weather, though. Elections favor repubs when it rains.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I finally finished filling in my sample ballot last night. I don't know how you early voters decide so quick.

I did my election cramming on Saturday night. I spent a few hours reading up on all the damn props and measures so I could vote on Sunday.

I drove by my polling place this morning on the way to work (after 9, though), and there was no line! Ah well.

My boss's boss was going to vote yes on Prop 7, but I convinced him not to at dinner last night. That was pretty cool. I felt so informed and persuasive! I also got a flister to vote no on Prop 3. I'm not very political, but I guess I can be a little political when the occasion calls for it.

Elections favor repubs when it rains.

...For real? Do Democrats melt or something?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Elections favor repubs when it rains.

Only because they've had way more organized GOTV efforts and more emphasis on early voting in the past. Not such a problem this round -- in fact, I'd bet they'll be more likely to call in dispirited.

Gorgeous day here in Boston. I was just out without my coat!

Of course, MA is THE anti-swing state.
