I am so sorry for your loss, Aimee.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

IOpettymeNews, fuck it. I'm quite sure now that something went wrong with my dental surgery last week, now that the swelling calmed down. I think (I don't think the next part is gross, but your grossness may vary) they sewed the part between the lip and the gum a little bit too close (and it's about 3 milliliters under my nose), so laughing, talking as usual and chewing as usual hurt. And while there are many things I'm OK with getting used to while having the braces, I'm not OK with not being fucking able to laugh. Leave me this, at least? I'm already talking like the girls I despised in junior high, that's bad enough, trust me.

And there's nothing I can do about it until Thursday night, the earliest, without skipping classes in my first week in uni.

Don't wanna have another dental surgery in one month to fix the previous one. Really, really don't. That was scary.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Aimee, I am so sorry for your loss. Much comfort~ma to you and your family.

Shir, give 'em hell if they made it so you can't laugh. That's our best defense in this world. We gotta have laughter.

Just getting home from party. It was fun. Thankfully the tux fit. Folks got the Bond thing right away. There are pics of me with a martini glass and everything. When I get them, I'll post them. Who knows when that will be. Miracle of miracles, they somehow timed it so RHPS did the Time Warp at 2am when the clocks got set back. The time geek in me loved this.

Now I'm hanging up the tux parts on individual hangers to air out the smoke smell and crawling into bed.

Good night, omnis!

Edit: then again, what are the odds that these are only the stitches that are bothering me?

Bit chilly in winter there. I was hoping for a moveable island that could cruise the coast for the best weather and seasons.

Shir, I hope whatever is wrong is easily fixed so you can laugh. I don't know how likely it is that what is bothering you is just a stitch, but it sure sounds possible.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Shir, I've had surgery on a frenulum in the mouth (lower lip). They cut the tissue and then had to do a graft on my lower, front gums. This was right after I had braces so I know what you're going through.

I hope it clears up for you and there is less discomfort.
