That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Happy Anniversary, Jilli and Pete!!!

Happy Birthday, Daniel!!!

Happy Halloween, everyone!!! I just opened the candy. Hopefully there will be some left for the little monsters tonight. We're living in a neighborhood with kids this year, so I think we might get some kids coming by this year.

My car is ready, and I have guilted someone into taking me to get it in a couple of hours.

I seem to have decided on a costume, myself...a very scary costume. I just bought a blonde wig. I'm going as...CINDY MCCAIN! Creeeeepy.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Matilda update: After several attempts, I've finally gotten her to approve of Lilo & Stitch.

Yay!! I have to buy a new copy of L&S - I seem to have lent it out and forgotten who has custody of it right now. Very sad.

meara is SKEEEEERY! (Do you have the zombie stare down yet?)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Emeline's costume has been procurred. She is going as Fancy Nancy. [link]

She's wearing a dress from later in the book - not the one from the cover.

not your mom's socks.

this. so much this.

Aww Fancy Nancy.

The butterfly costume will be ready tonight, I think. I just made antennae with padded florists' wire and a headband as the base, and put some bits on top for the wiggly things. She's got a black turtleneck that I'm sewing more bits and pieces onto, and I'm making shoulder straps for the wings. Add one pair of black tights, and one ballerina skirt, and I think we're go.

Though I can't tell. I was inspired to do home-made costume this year and now I think that was totally insane.

Plus, we were surprised by "wear Phillies gear to school!" day today. (and we have none - hence my shopping this weekend)

I not good news I just found out some dear family friends are getting a divorce. I feel so bad for them and their sons.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Happy birthday, Daniel!

Thanks for the anniversary wishes, everyone! I took the day off, so we're going to go out to lunch, and then carve pumpkins.
