There is bacon in my soup tonight. I was sucked in by a local restaurant review that declared the soup the best they ever consumed. Figured it was worth a try. Bacon, roasted corn kernels, sweet potato, celery, garlic, veg broth, and stuff. I made it from my memory of the recipe, so pretty random. It smells good.

Fiddle sounds fun.

It was really good. Smoky bacon and not too much brown sugar or cinnamon. Good mix of salt and sweet.
