omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Shir, and others interested. Co-worker passed my e-mail off to caterer gal. Was kinda hoping for the other way around, but understanable, I suppose. Dunno when he passed it (or if, for that matter). Hopefully it was today, which would explain the lack of correspondence as of yet. Cross your fingers.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm done with housework for the night, now that I have screamed myself hoarse. Tried to clean the bathroom, ran out of Scrubbing Bubbles half way through the shower. The downstairs cat litter box is a convoluted contraption that is supposed to sift the litter if you take the trays out in a certain way, except that I make as much mess doing that, as I do getting a tear in the bag I've emptied the litter into. Which explains why the thing has ridiculously large clips holding the cover onto the actual litter pan. Which is what today's plastic trash bag got caught on. Which is why I was shouting, "No, No, NO!" causing the cats two rooms away to flip out like the little mammals they are. Which is why, after I had swept up the mess, taken out all the trash and recycling, I came in to sit at my computer, to find the desk chair rolling rather crunchily over a broken glass. Cue me flipping out like a mammal.

I hope they don't mind waiting for Daniel to get home from work to get fed. I'm done.

My sympathies, Andi. I've got one of those sifting litterboxes, too, and I find it's more work than just scooping the damn box. I get litter everywhere when I clean it even though I keep a trash can right next to the litter box to empty it in. It's great in theory, but not as practical as I hoped. Plus, it releases more litter dust in the air when I clean and it really bugs my lungs. I think the sifter pan is going in the trash and I'll use it without for now. I've found a really great litter that I don't have to scoop nearly as frequently and it neutralizes the scent really well, so I've been able to cut back on scooping anyway. Which was why I got the sifter, soo...new solution to old problem.

Well, I have to say, there is little or no dust with the Feline Pine pellet style litter. It's disadvantage is getting sawdust all over. Of course, if I swept the area more often it wouldn't be so big a problem.

Feline Pine pellet style litter

That's not one I see in the grocery stores. Do you get it from a pet store?

I'm getting the pig!

We'll need photographic evidence of that, sj.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Sail I get mine at the grocery store - I don't know if it's PA only though - Superfresh. But yes, you can get it at pet stores. I love it but have the same problem WindSparrow does with the sawdust everywhere (and the lack of regular sweeping). I like it better than the other litters.

Walmart and Target both carry it. Incidentally, it is the same stuff as wood pellets used as fuel for wood stoves, which is cheaper. Also if there is a farm/feed store around they might carry the same stuff as horse bedding, which is also less expensive than the Feline Pine.
