'Sleeper'

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

My insurance is supposed to cover 80% but they wouldn't pay for my $500 night guard

Was that through your dental or through your medical? I know with my last good coverage, medical would cover it if the dentist says its necessary for TMJ reasons. My current coverage is crap, but I got the cheapest I could afford.

“Not dead yet!”

Sorry about the poopyhead editors, Barb.

Thanks, Laura. I'm... kind of stunned, actually. Not that I ever expect anything and I've ceased being surprised or shocked by anything with respect to publishing, but I'm just sort of hovering on this precipice of "What's wrong with me?" which I know is stupid and self=pitying, which in turn, pisses me off. It's kind of a vicious cycle and I don't exactly know how to break it.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Was that through your dental or through your medical?

It was through dental but I have bruxism, not TMJ. Still I'll ask my dentist next time I go if it would be possible to go through my medical instead.

Ah. I was conflating the two in my head. I thought one (bruxism) was part of the other. My problem was bruxism, too. But I found that once I quit the job I'd had for eleven years, it pretty much went away.

it seems to run in my family. My Mom and my sister-in-law have it too. We're an anxious bunch. Maybe if we put my sister in a nunnery it would go away.

google seems to be telling me that the bruxism will lead to TMJ.

Heh. I just got informed that N's ex (who hosted the party we went to Saturday night) was all snarky to her on IM today and characterized me as "introverted" and was quite snippy about me being "in charge" and taking N away from the party after kissing her a lot. HAH! ooooooh. She was clearly just jealous because my corset was WAY better than hers.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I don't doubt that your corset was better. Or, I wouldn't normally, but my brane broke at the part about you being "introverted".

Now tagless for your comfort.

My insurance is supposed to cover 80% but they wouldn't pay for my $500 night guard

I had pretty good dental insurance and they won't cover a night guard for me, either. My dentist is pretty good about submitting costs for insurance well before my appointments so I know going in what I can get and what I can't.
