Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Yay SA! Wonderful news!

In OK news, I have permission to take Friday off of work, which I will do and hide from the Halloween insanity in my house. With candy.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Congrats SA! I finish my Masters in December and I SERIOUSLY CAN'T WAIT!

“Not dead yet!”

Well, talk about crashing to earth. Again. Two editors who had two different manuscripts both passed.

On the upside, Agent Kate loved the revisions I did to the old YA manuscript, but said I needed to add more to it.

Art Crawl!!!

Just back from the oral surgeon.

Reading the instructions: I can have only liquids but nothing hot. I have no juice - so I guess I'm fasting tonight.

Also, I was told that the cost would be one thing on Friday and when I get the bill - after the extraction: surprise! The cost was at least $200.00 more!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

The cost was at least $200.00 more!

That's a rip-off. Even taking into consideration my annual deductible, my last extraction only cost me $160, total.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Mine was way more than that. Around $1000, half of it covered by insurance.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

It's totally Mistress SA.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

My insurance is supposed to cover 80% but they wouldn't pay for my $500 night guard. Luckily the dentist was able to determine this before they made it for me so I didn't have to pay for it. I got a $25 model from the drug store instead.
