Steph, I wasn't actually worried you were going to stab your hand with a pen. I think I actually wrote a comment on that, but then deleted it. It was something to the effect of people don't understand self-harm until they are in a similar situation. But, then I didn't really want to start a conversation on self-harm, so I deleted it. I'm glad to hear you had a good day.
SA! Fabulous news! Go you!
Phone calls I never want to get again: "Honey, you know your air conditioner in the living room? Well, we tried to take it out of the window and dropped it. That's the one you weren't planning on keeping, right?"
Oh, vw! Arrgh. I hope it's still OK. And that your window in on the first floor.
I'm actually on the second floor. But, it fell into a trash can filled with dirt and leaves, so that probably broke it's fall. Fortunately, people are rarely in that part of the yard.
Congrats to SA!
Also - I attempted to close a storm window this morning (apparently - the temperature this morning is the warmest of the day) and it would not budge. So aggravating. I think I have some DW40 somewhere. I hope I do.
SA, congratulations!
vw, my condolences on the possible loss of your a/c.
Lurvs DW40. And small house works and renovations in general. Wish she knew how to use more tools and power tools.
I have no DW40 but have found that Pam works just as well!
Doctor Who 4.0?
You use Tom Baker spray? Cool.
By the way, never hit a can of WD40 with a stick: [link]
I can never remember what it is called!
But I think I have some.
I can never remember what it is called!
The main thing, whatever you call it, is to not mistake it for a can of air when cleaning a keyboard.
