I have a Lennox Christmas platter that I keep forgetting about. It's in it's box, somewhere. I don't put it in with the general dishes, so out of sight, out of mind. I need to put it somewhere more accesible, because I will use it if I see it.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
My mother has Christmas dishes that come out after Thanksgiving.
vw, you definitely need those wine charms.
Fay is wise and wonderful.
The hand control people didn't call me back yesterday with an estimate and an appointment. So it looks like I get to spend another day nagging people to do what they are supposed to do.

but that it was exclusively Latino just... bugged me and I can't quite put my finger on why.
Barb, I kind of felt that too. Plus, it kind of took a while for me to figure out what was supposed to be going on. But there was a sort of... I don't know. Something. And I'm trying to think if it would have been offensive if it'd been an Italian-American family with praying or kissing a St. Anthony medal or what have you, and... yes. Yes, it would have been. So there you go.
Er, for what that's worth. Hey, I've already finished three classes' worth of grades. I needed a break!
Furnace guy said he would be here between 8:30 and 9 am. It's 9:30 now, how long before I call him?
The car conversion is going to be fucking expensive, but I think I have all the logistics figured out.
Call him now.
Also - do you guys know of any good websites that define the things listed in a dental benefit schedule of benefits?
Because I'm looking at this list and not really understanding what is what. For example: if you have to have an extraction on a wisdom tooth that broke and is now infected. .. is that a regular, simple extraction? Or is it something that will involve expensive anaesthesia?
I'd call that a simple extraction, sumi. Wisdom teeth are actually easier to remove than other molars. Mine came out without a whimper. Infections, they usually try to clear up with antibiotics before the extraction and a broken tooth, while a little harder to pull, can be done without having to be knocked out. Anaesthesia for extractions is usually elective and you have to pay for it yourself.
ETA: I'm sure there are times when it does get more complicated, but the chances of that being so are negligible.
