Joyce: You don't think it's too obvious? I think I look like I have a cat on my head. Buffy: But a very well groomed cat. Joyce: Well that's a comfort.

'Bring On The Night'

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hee!! I might sound like that aroused, anyway. You never know!

Now we know the secret love cry of the MiracleBorns: "Dozerygi! Ba ra ba!"

“Not dead yet!”

Hee!! I might sound like that aroused, anyway. You never know!

And I figured the drooling was a given where Daniel was concerned.

I'll be on during the day tomorrow Aims. We can talk lots and lots of Mad Men goodness.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I finally have my loan check. So, I can turn in my car and the check to the dealer tomorrow and have Dave drive the new car home. Then I'll get the new car converted on Tuesday or Thursday. This means being without a car for a while, but it should all be worth it.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm paying invoices, and I just watched the Slapsgiving episode of HIMYM (like, three times) so every time I see "general ledger" there are people saluting him in my head.

Our wings are not tired.

This means being without a car for a while, but it should all be worth it.

I know it has been a frustrating ordeal for you, but yay for seeing the light at the end of the tunnel finally. Also, go you will the bazillion phone calls. I dread those projects.

Thanks, Laura. Can someone tell my mother that it is safe for me to drive home after having one margarita 2 hours ago?

Our wings are not tired.

I could write you a note. Chances are the worst damage from the margarita is a sugar high.

“Not dead yet!”

You know, I don't get on my ethnic high horse all that often-- there are a lot of things I laugh at that a lot of other Latinos might find offensive, but I think I may have just found my limits. A McDonald's commercial featuring what looks like a Latino family who've all brought their lunches to the park and they're all doing various little rituals before they pull the game pieces off the drink and fry containers. And thing is, several of the things they're doing are more Santería in nature and I don't know... for some reason, that really bugged me. If it had been a more mixed ethnic group, I think I might have found it funny and laughed it off, but that it was exclusively Latino just... bugged me and I can't quite put my finger on why.

Lewis looked at me like I was mildly nuts while I sat there, my jaw hanging down. Who knows-- maybe I'm overreacting. I'm not sure.
