Wild monkey love or tender Sarah McLachlan love?

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

My worst problem with painting is that it's booooring. It's much easier to take with someone else helping.

Another important part of painting is that you have to order pizza.

I'm liking the minion/pizza/beer option. Must find minions.

And thanks for the B-I-N suggestion beth. That looks great.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Boys can be cruel in their ways, too.

Absolutely.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Re: primer - I have found that if doing a number of different colors, the Zinnser stuff tinted grey has actually allowed for fewer coats of paint - usually just one - than a plain white primer.

Hm. Tinted primer. Check.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I've been schooling Nate in the whatever technique-- but I couldn't resist and told him that the next time this kid called him the biggest geek in school, I told him to say, "Yeah, well, the geeks shall be inheriting the earth while your kind are still saying 'you want fries with that?'"

also "Bill Gates is one of the biggest geeks on the planet. He's also one of the richest. If you're nice to me, I might hire you one day"

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

If you're going to the reddish of the spectrum, pink-tinted primer works, too.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

If you're going to the reddish of the spectrum, pink-tinted primer works, too.

Unless the Japanese hit you with a surprise bombing run and you have to take off before you put the top coat on.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Sorry, perpetuating negative girl stereotypes is a total trigger of mine. I simply must speak when I see it, even when it's minor and obvious that the person speaking is speaking of their own experience.

That NYT editorial also smacked of anti-girl and boy-as-hero-of-world and made my blood pressure rise.

I am feminist, hear me roar!

“Not dead yet!”

That NYT editorial also smacked of anti-girl and boy-as-hero-of-world and made my blood pressure rise.

Well, that NYT editorial also smacked of crazed mother who would be happy if her baby boy lived in the basement forever.

All I could think was "Lady, why didn't you just name him Norman and be done with it?"
