Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The actual conversation went like this.

She's hugging her Brobee doll (from Yo Gabba Gabba) as I'm walking her up and down the hallway singing lullabies.

Me: Do you like Brobee?
Matilda: (smiling) Ma love Brobee!
Me: Do you love Emmett!
Matilda: (quietly and seriously) I love Emmett.
Me: Do you love Mommy?
Matilda: I love Mommy.
Me: (singing her lullaby) My little girl, Matilda Azalea
Pretty little girl who lives by the sea
Smart as a whip, brave and true
Matilda Azalea I love you
Matilda: I love you Daddy.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Pfft. Cars are only of mild interest to her.

Her universe revolves around: Yo Gabba Gabba, Emmett, milk, and fancy shoes. There's an ethos in there.

Cars can GET her (or at least transport her TO) all those things.

Yeah, she really hasn't put that together yet. Just in our neighborhood alone there are far more fascinating modes of transportation including Zummm! (motorcycles) and skateboarders galore (the steps at Kezar Stadium across the street are one of the top skating places in all of SF and hence the universe. You can even see them in Unsane's infamous "Scrape" video. [at 2:25])

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yayayayayayayayayay, billytea baby!! More Buffistas to take over the world!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Billytea, I'm so happy for you. May you continue to have an aggressively normal pregnancy, with an aggressively normal birth, and a wonderful, fantastic babyhood.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Yay!!! Congrats to BT & BiYi!!!

Pix, I envy your Halloween schedule. I never thought drug ed classes could be so good.

That's crazy about Dallas teachers. I wish I hadn't missed the local news. Crazy! Why? Like that? Mid semester? Dunno what to say.

IOmeN, my email is working again, but when it repopulated my inbox, it loaded most of the messages twice, and all as unread. Ugg.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

OMGWTFBABY!

FanTAStic! Aw, bless! A wee wallaguin! Or penabee!

I'll note that when I was singing Matilda to bed tonight, she smiled up into my face and said, "I love you Daddy."

And it was fucking great.
