Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
DJ, I ended up being the last to leave. Geri & I got to talking, and the temp went down, and it was so nice outside. I tried to start help clean up, and they were like "nah, we'll do that in the morning. Don't worry about it"
Don't forget about the shindig on Tuesday.
shocked, but only a little, at the stupidity of insurance companies
The people who decide coverage should live our lives and the lives of our loved ones.
Yeah, this week doesn't look terribly less social than last week. Al's thing Tues. BFF's on Wed. Then, my friend Christie is in from LA on Friday.
People! Stop having fun things for me to do! (Well, except for the BFF thing, which asshat may attend. I'll have Bob though, so I have more asshat power on my side).
Dyed hair is accomplished. Ah. Better.
Iced tea is in my hand, oven is preheating for to make quiches for staff breakfast tomorrow (Mrs. Smith's thaw n pour into Mrs. S. frozen pie crusts -- all the cache of homemade with none of the slicing, baybees!)
I think I am done with teacher stuff tonight, except for chopping the Sunday paper apart and starting to make little posters. That's no brainer stuff. Maybe I'll do it whilst watching Season 1 of Buffy.
I don't have a classroom, so they shoved a desk into this little closet in an off-hallway under a stairwell; it's very garrettesque. If I am required to become a sexy American girlGiles, I have a little hidden HQ all set up. It's even got a back door, for rushed escapes from trolls, demons and (more likely) annoying co-workers!
I have decided not to do any teacher things tonight. They will own me soon enough tomorrow, 12 hours and counting. Tonight, I shall read a book, watch TV and try not to think about the evils the school is going to unleash on my life.
I feel you, GG. I think I'm in denial about having to go back to work on Wednesday.

Heh. I just made a sign for my "office" door, using a screen cap of the Sunnydale HS library, set as a watermark, and Buffyfont.
It amuses me.
I'm on holiday, which is nice.
And I'm pretty sure (though I've had to skip and skim) that Nora's posted photos of our night out in Cambridge. That was HELLA fun, and Nora and Tom and Frank and Theodosia are all mightily enjoyable people to hang around with. And now we're somewhere in Cape Cod, hanging out with my seven month old niece, who is freaking ADORABLE. I'm going all cannibal around her because I just want to NOM her little face and her little hands and her little toesies. NOM.

Nice!
When I know if they are going to give back my classroom or keep me confined to the black box I'll make a sign for my door with my schedule and such.
Oh, because I don't think I have said it here, sparkly vampires are annoying. (I got ahold of an inexpensive copy of Breaking Dawn and almost finished with it.)

I am approving of sexy American girlGiles Erin, I have to say.
Just got back from a toddler birthday party that was actually lovely. But the girls facepainting weren't getting a lot of requests, so I let them doodle all over me for the last half hour or so. Evil Spongebob, the fanged bunny, a smiling flutterby and a bubblebee with little motion lines (including a flip!) behind it are my favorites.
