[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

Depends on if you're taking an estrogen/progesterone mix or just progesterone. The latter needs to be taken at the same time each day to be effective. The former, not as important.

Thrive to spite them

Damn I'm taking the mix, well this was the second day I'll do better tomorrow. I took it an hour after i should have.

An hour's difference for the mix form of the pill won't make any difference at all. You're fine.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Is Teppy around? Because, in a moment of spectacular serendipitous randomosity, a commenter at slacktivist just a few minutes ago posted a brief reminiscence about a Willow/Spike fic Tep wrote years and years ago. The commenter called it "both oddly sexy and way too disturbing for me to hunt down again."

(She didn't actually name either the fic or the author, but if you've ever read this fic of Teppy's, this was obviously exactly the one she meant.)

Longevity! Weird.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

OK, came across this, and it VERY funny. "leaked notes from Palin" [link]

Just got home from work. Ow. BUT! Wow! They have this thing. Victor, Pix, and well, a bunch of others, I think you'd be all over it. It's called "DaVerse Lounge". It's kinda poetry slam, but not a competition. Middle School & High Schoolers get up and do poetry. There is a band behind them that lay down a groove. It's quite awesome. I wish more parents were there, so they could HEAR what the kids were saying! It almost makes me wanna be a teacher. Anyhow, I'm not doing it justice. But it was very cool. Pix, if you come & visit, I really hope it's when they have this event. It's 5 times a year, so not an every week kind of thing.

Now, I must listen to my body go "ow".

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Anyone want to supervise a Drama dept car wash for me so I can sleep in and do paperwork?

“Not dead yet!”

Don't feel quite as horrid as I thought I was going to this morning, but still wanted to sleep in. The dogs, of course, have issues with this, but since there are presumably two adults in the house, I thought (hoped) that perhaps the other one would get up and deal with letting them out and feeding them and maybe even making the coffee.

I had a brief, shining moment of hope when he got up to let them out-- a moment that was shattered when he immediately got back in bed. Which meant that someone else felt the need to be responsible and get up and let them in and feed them.

And since once I'm up, I'm UP, I even made the coffee, dammit. May just keep the whole pot for myself.

Our wings are not tired.

Already drank 3 cups of coffee. I woke to the sound of DH closing the front door at 6:15 on his way to the office. Of course this also woke the dog and when I let her out the cat came in. Georgia loudly insisted that it was a bad night for catching vermin and that she had to have breakfast. By the time the animal chores were done I was awake. Didn't go to work though! I sat down and watched a couple General Hospital episodes from the beginning of the week. It was like a junk food breakfast. Ahhhh. But now I really have to go to work.

Gee, can you tell I am already caffeinated?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

May just keep the whole pot for myself.

That, and the next one, too. You deserve it.

I've come full circle on coffee. I didn't touch the stuff until I was near 30. DH#1 always tried to talk me into it but I resisted. When I finally tried and liked it he instantly regretted his success because he never got more than one cup since I was way quicker with the drinking. Bestest DH never drinks the stuff so now it is all mine mine mine. I know better than to try and change his ways.
