[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

acetaminophen (also abbreviated as APAP

Oh, that's what the APAP is on Hubby's drugs. God, his liver must be like Swiss cheese, but he gets lots of monitoring tests.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I just wrote a really long post about Ambien for Jilli and the computer ate it. Dammit.

Basically: How many mgs are you taking? Where do you get it filled, or: is it round or oval and is it CR or regular?

I can be more useful with that info, but my first off rec is, if 1/2 a tab isn't putting you to sleep to 4 am, take a whole. Take a hot shower, bath, sure, then take a whole one.

3 days? Pshaw, my dear; I've been taking it on and off (mostly on) for 5 years. I am addicted to the FALLING ASLEEP within an hour of bedtime and not within an hour of my alarm. I've been a clinical chrinic insomniac for 24 years now. I have tried EVERYTHING for insomnia, legal or not legal, (except heroin and I'm sure it would put me to sleep, but YOIKS and NO and NEEDLES! Ouch) and it's the only thing that consistently works for me with no sideeffects.

Acetaminophen toxicity is very dangerous and the liver damage can be irreversible. It can be fatal. There's no antidote, and it's just an ugly, ugly thing.

If anybody wants to know how ugly/bad/scary/awful liver damage and its side effects are, I'm more than happy to lay it out for you.

A friend of mine in high school ended up in the hospital for about two weeks from a Tylenol and alcohol combination.

No liver damage! No, no. I looked at my Ty-3 script and it's too much APAP: 300/30, and I would take at least 5 a day for 3-4 days of my period. I am going to call my doctor tomorrow and ask her to switch to something else. I deserve to ask until I have something that's workable and pain-free.

Want smaller doasges of APAP now.

Possible small upside to liver damage, if you're odd, and looking for little upside where you can find them --
