I kissed him, and I told him that I loved him. And I killed him.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I am delighted to have discovered a new yummy snackfood: crunchy fried salmon skin! Yay! In bags like bags of crisps, but it's salmon skin instead of slices of potato! Which is yummy [especially dusted with chili, as this is], and has 7g of fat, 12g of protein and 0g of carbs per bag! Yay!

Also, when the salmon run is abundant, brown bears limit themselves to eating the skin and brains. Crunchy fried salmon skin - endorsed by bears. (Let me know if they start selling a salmon brains snack food.)

Now tagless for your comfort.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm craving a salmon skin sushi roll.

Clearly, you need to come visit again.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I was coming in here to brag on what a sweet, loving, wonderful boyfriend Daniel is, but the talk of salmon skin is just creeping my shit out.

Aaaaaaaaaaauuuuuugh!

Ok, I have that out of my system.

Now, just in case you were wondering, this is the kind of boyfriend I have. We met in the driveway tonight getting home from work. Daniel mentioned that he could have been home an hour or more earlier, but he had gone to some stores after work. He told me had been on a mission to get me a whirligig, but had failed.

So I kissed him.

And then he gave me a couple packs of Reese's to make up for it. Of course, that might have been as much self-preservation as kindness, because I've got PMS.

But still, the whirligig hunting? Definitely Boyfriend Hall of Fame material.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

omnis, I meant to express my sympathy for having to deal with such an asshat guidance counselor in high school. My favorite guidance counselor story is when mine passed by me in the hall when the elevator didn't seem to be working. So, I told him that I need to get to class and I was having a problem with the elevator. His oh so not helpful response was, ''Well, what do you want me to do about that?''

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I ate way too much sugar tonight. We had company for dinner, and they brought three desserts, and I had a little piece of each, which was way too much sugar for someone who's mostly been avoiding sugar. I had a sugar crash, but now I'm awake again and can't get to sleep.
