Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, Sean! Be careful!

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Okay. A Chippie showed up and guarded my back while I got the truck restarted. All better now.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Oh, Sean! much travel ~ma for you!

there was always something ridiculously addicting about Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies. Very cracktastic.

Very true. I've also found the same to be true for pecan rolls. I'll eat every one in a package and hardly realize it. It's like being hypnotized by their swirl.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I've never been one for Twinkies but I have mad love for those freaky orange cupcakes.

Well that was an adventure. The truck stalled out again, on my street, two blocks from my house.

Thankfully, a very nice tow truck driver was already there servicing somebody else, and towed me the rest of the way.

S's truck is blowing oil smoke like crazy, and had been making a nasty rattling noise on the trip. I think she's got a blown gasket.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm glad for the happy ending there, Sean!

ETA: That was posted after I saw you got safely off the highway. Not so glad about the blown gasket or anything else it might be.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Oh, I also liked getting an occasional off-brand Snowballs when I was younger and pre-diabetic.

I say off-brand, because the pink ones freak me out. Something called a "snowball" should be white by default.

Oh, god, I LOVE those. But I prefer the pink ones. It's their unnatural pinkness that I dig.

t edit Although these amused me so much that I went back to the BP where I saw them just to take their picture: [link] It's the sheer amount of marketing crammed onto that wrapper that I'm in awe of -- "Glo" Balls, not snow balls; with "S'cream" filling; the requisite orange coconut topping; and the seasonally appropriate art on the wrapper. It's perfect.

I never much cared for oatmeal cookies in and of themselves, but there was always something ridiculously addicting about Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies. Very cracktastic.

I also love these with an unholy love. Did you know there are double-decker Oatmeal Cream Pies? I've only seen them in single-serve packages (i.e., not a whole boxful), and DAMN, are they good. It's like seeing God.

True. But what a way to end the world!
