Sweetie, we're crooks. If everything were right, we'd be in jail.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

gotta remember to charge my cell phone....

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I had a new storytime today. One of the girls belongs here -- she had a pink cast encrusted with jewels.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

it's barely fall, and already I'm dealing with A CHRISTMAS CAROL. I can't seem to escape this show. I only watched Act 1. I can't take both acts at once just yet.

You still have time for rewrites, then. Why not have the Ghost of Christmas Future show the Cratchets rising up, seizing the means of production and distribution, and sending Scrooge to a re-education camp? He can reform in order to keep his workers somewhat more content in a Capitalist system where he still retains most of the power.

Our wings are not tired.

The community theater here does a good job of A Christmas Carol each year. Lots of current affairs jokes. I suspect banks will be included this year. But I only have to watch it once. After several years with a ballet dancer I got real tired of the Nutcracker.

I hope Daniel got some quality drugged out rest last night and has some relief this morning.

Lastly, and I still can't believe it is possible, but Nilly says it is so...

Happy Birthday to the lovely big girl Matilda!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Re: hoarding - "My Mother's Garden" is an amazing, amazing film about the illness. [link] It's truly an eye-opener as to the depth of illness that goes with/causes the behavior.

Mostly lurking...

We have a hoarder in our neighborhood. It really is so sad. I've actually had to threaten to call the police if she steps on our property again to go through the trash. Their back yard is just a mess. And I've heard her in screaming fights with her daughter. It just makes me so sad.

Timelies, all!

Happy Birthday, Matilda!!!!!

“Not dead yet!”

Happy Birthday, Matilda!

I think if you're in any kind of artistic pursuit, you have a seasonal albatross to bear. In band it was Sousa marches. Feh. The only one I could cope with was "Liberty Bell" because I could at least envision Monty Python skits.
