Funny thing about black and white. You mix it together and you get gray. And it doesn't matter how much white you try and put back in, you're never gonna get anything but gray.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

You don't have to spend 13 years at the next job as long as you're comfortable committing for at least a year or two.

Heh, this is what I keep telling Tom- really, it's OK to only be at a place for a year or 2- you're not automatically committing to another 10 years!

Speaking of which... Tom has his big interview today for The Job He Really Wants and the Place He Really Wants. After a month and a half of rejection, it's hard for both of us to get our hopes up, but, god, this would be *so* great if he got this. Really, really, a lot.

So, if you can point your job~ma Cambridge/Boston-ward for Tom this morning (starting about nowish till maybe 10am board time (1pm EST) that would be most appreciated!

I may be as nervous as him. I want this SO BAD for him. I've been trying to not portray the intensity of my emotion to him though, he's got enough internal pressure on him as it is.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Gronklies...

I have a ton of work to get done today. I tried to switch over to Outlook from Windows Mail last night so I could track projects better and couldn't get it to work. I thought it would be a half hour. I turned into three hours of frustration. It seems to be one of those can't-get-there-from-here things. I can't even get it to send and receive mail, even though the tests supposedly worked.

And on a completely other subject, much ~ma for J.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Tons of job~ma and interview~ma for Tom.

Thanks, Deena. Good luck getting your work done today.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hi, Deena, bug, nora, sj!

good outcomes~ma for wee J and job~ma for Tom.

KBD is a snorer. I've got 3 kinds of earplugs - the silicone ones work best for me b/c I have such small ear canals that the foam ones really don't fit.

Lots and lots of job~ma for Tom!

Greg snores sometimes, but I can usually just poke him and he rolls over. He snored more when we first got married. Either that, or I've actually gotten used to it.

Our wings are not tired.

Missed a whole day again.

On skim:

Emeline's first day of school pictures melted me. And Aims is looking mighty good too.

I couldn't skim over the stories of Deena's growing babies. Deena continues to impress me with her abilities as super mom. And I think my plate is full!

Belated Happy Birthday to Emmett!

Yay for getting your hours back, Teppy. Yes, continue to look for more worthy employment.

~ma for cutiehead nephew

And all my job~ma to Tom today.

We both snore. Loves me some earplugs.

Oh, I meant to comment on that. Yay for Tep hours, and I hope something better comes along quickly. I'm still boggled by the asshattery.

I do not feel like super mom today. Laura's my model for super mom.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Tons of job-ma for Tom from this direction. If I was at my old desk I'd even make magical hand-waving gestures towards the Longfellow bridge.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

My sister tells me that a student of hers who missed a test on Monday emailed her on Tuesday that it was because he was involved in a fight over the weekend and was injured. He attached a jpeg labeled "wound" that she refused to open. Dear Students: Just because you can share, doesn't mean you should.

well, in this era of fraud and academic misconduct, perhaps he felt the need to provide proof.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Job~ma for Tom.

Continued ~ma for J.

Purrs to all from Harvey.
