Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Nice to see you too, Sophia. I've been lurking...reading when I can and thinking I'll catch up, occasionally posting in Tech if I thought I had something useful to say, but it's nice to be posting in here again.

Trust my rage

So, as predicted, Frisco woke up around 12:30. Ellie was rubbing her eyes but I seized the moment and got everyone in the car by 1:30. Costco is less than 2 miles away. Half way there, Ellie was asleep in her carseat.

We turned around and I carried her to bed and she did not stir a bit. Now Frisco and I are watching beach volleyball, nursing, and drinking a cuba libre (well, just me on that last part. at least directly.)

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Stephanie, Matilda is loving all her beautiful new clothes. She is in fact inspired by them to dress herself, often with interesting results. (She insisted that the cute little flipflop top was pants, and got quite wroth when we attempted to correct her.) Thank you so, so much!

As promised, videos:

Baby Dylan

Squeaky shoes!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Heh. That look Dylan keeps giving Matilda as she munches her apple is the same look he kept giving me when I ate Salt & Vinegar potato chips.

"I cannot believe you are eating stuff and you are not giving it to me."

Trust my rage

I love the pictures - of Matilda, Dylan, and Matilda wearing the clothes. I like her sense of style!

Now I want Salt and Vinegar potato chips.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

, snarling, "DADDY! DADDY!" in a horrid Exorcist!baby voice,

Hee. Sorry, JZ, it must have sucked to live through, but that cracked my shit UP.

ND, wow. Mass of awfulness. I feel so bad for you; such unfairness.

GRONK. Coffee: 1 cup down. Slept till 12:44, with mondo bizarro dreams of losing my car and a tornado chasing me and troupe of local actors into a Gothic theatre/coke-den and trying to move out of an apartment with my best friend while not having a phone and trying to find my car and panicking, also, falling into a slimy lily-pad pond in the back yard.

I DID find my car in the dream, and then I woke up.

I feel like someone beat me all night long (all night! all night....all night long... WHOOOO! Go, Lionel Richie, in my head!)

After starting a new teaching job Monday (I've been off, due to surgery and summer since May 5th) the long, hard week culminated with working all day Thursday, and having to get up at 2 am to get on a charter bus at 3 am and drive to St.Louis with all my new co-workers at close quarters for a regional conference full of PEP and VERVE and theory-no practical workshops full of shit I already know. I was excited like whoa by this, as I am sure you can imagine.

Said day to be finished my a 4 hour bus trip through Friday rush hour traffic back to KC. Yay.

About 45 minutes into the trip home, the bus I was one started to get stuffy. I thought I was the only one noticing, but I thought it was just me. Well, about 1/2 later, we all learned that the AC was broken. We pulled off, and were presented with the option of waiting 3 hours for another bus to get to us and then driving the rest of the way home, or shuffling 6 people onto the other bus, and trudging sweatily homeward. Well, all of us just wanted to get the hell home, so sweat it was.

Oh, no open window -- charter bus, safety glass thingies, you know.

I got home at 8:45, a sodden ball of exhaustion, ate some food, drank a HUGE glass of water and dropped into bed for 12 hours of weird dreams.

It was a thing.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm watching the olympics. What's this game that looks like an indoor soccer court but the ball is smaller and they're passing it with their hands?
