I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Librarian Warlord

Welcome back, Sox. It sound like our parental units had a nice visit over the weekend. Mom said Tucker was sitting on their bed when they went up, and stayed sleeping between them the whole night.

That might be all the posting I get to do today...work (and my tendency to procrastinate) have caught up with me. Have a good one, Bitches!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Sparky and Laura, you know how much I love to watch you work, but if you haven't got your health, you haven't got anything. Take care of yourselves, lovelies.

I'm in my office watching kids bring in stuff for demonstration speeches. Frankly, I don't like them, but the kids love them, so I do them. I know 2 of the 4 groups scheduled for today will be ready to go, the other 2? I'm not so sure. I have a back-up worksheet planned just in case.

Bran muffin:

And, I feel kinda sticky today. I had a slounge day on Saturday. Sunday afternoon, I went to take a shower and the water knob came off in my hand. Turning on the water is impossible without the knob. So, I washed my hair in the kitchen sink last night and washed bits in the bathroom sink this morning. I haven't had a proper shower since Friday.

I left a message for maintenance yesterday so I hope they get on it today. I went by the management office this morning, and they weren't open yet. That concerns me a bit since it was almost 8 and they usually open at 7:30. I hope they're in today. I don't want to go another day without a proper shower.

Sparky, she was glad not to be chased by toddlers. also, not locked out of the room by Canadians.

water ma~~~ ChiKat

Sounds like people have to work too hard this week so I am sending out the smooth sailing ma~~~

Matt has two interview today jobma @1130 board time today would be especially appreciated.

Our weekend was low-key, and Matt was more matt-like. The funniest part of the weekend-- my sister telling DH that if he needed to be dope slapped just to give her a call. Poor Dh--no one will let him be mean to himself.

Now tagless for your comfort.

interview~ma for Matt!

I think if possible, when traveling, having the number of parenty-types being one more than the number of kids is the best.

I think a greater than 1:1 ratio is pretty much a good thing for any kid-type situation.

cheerios

totally Cashmere - if it's doable. That way, the extra person can play sweep... or just sit down and stare at the horizon. Either way...

Maureen Dowd is channeling Aaron Sorkin this morning. I'm in love.

"where does a guy with eight houses who was legacied into Annapolis get off calling you an elitist? And by the way, if you do nothing else, take that word back. Elite is a good word, it means well above average. I’d ask them what their problem is with excellence. While you’re at it, I want the word “patriot” back. McCain can say that the transcendent issue of our time is the spread of Islamic fanaticism or he can choose a running mate who doesn’t know the Bush doctrine from the Monroe Doctrine, but he can’t do both at the same time and call it patriotic. They have to lie — the truth isn’t their friend right now. Get angry. Mock them mercilessly; they’ve earned it."

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Interview~ma, Matt!!!

TCG took the day off from work today. He's spending it getting the insurance and the registration all settled on his new car. Then he has his Worcester meeting tonight. I hope things go as quickly as possible so that he can relax and enjoy part of his birthday.

“Not dead yet!”

Interview ~ma for Matt.

ION, it can totally stop being Monday now. Actually, the fact that it's Monday isn't so bad. And for me, it's a good Monday, nice and overcast and rainy. I'm really geared up to work. Except it's really freakin' hard to work when the phone keeps ringing.
