Wild monkey love or tender Sarah McLachlan love?

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Amelia is a wee little cutie! Ovaries are aching.

I'm at a street fair where TCG's band just finished playing. It's a gorgeous day, and I just made plans to meet with a friend who has her own little wee one on Tuesday. I met him today. So tiny and sweet!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm still going through this phase with my first one.

Something about the blue jeans makes him seem like he's sneaking out to meet up with his biker gang.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

D is such a cutiehead rabble rouser, obviously trying to make a break for it.

My stepbrother and his SO are due to have their second within 12 months by the end of the year--Baby #2 was a rather big surprise. He's got two daughters from his first marriage whose mom just had her first baby from marriage #2 at Eastertime, so they've got kids bursting out all over. I sometimes get confused when the girls come over to my Dad's and talk about their baby brother, but they don't mean my stepbrother's baby boy.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Something about the blue jeans makes him seem like he's sneaking out to meet up with his biker gang.

BWAH! He's totally adorable.

I ordered Amelia's first pair of stripy tights from Old Navy (black and pinkish-orange). They also had pinkish-orange tights with blue and black bat print so I ordered them too. I'm going to love being able to spoil her rotten.

Always Anti-fascist!

Hil, I bet he moved for some dude. Or maybe he couldn't afford NYC. (/obsessed with House) Let's pretend I could close it. Although I've not been to NJ or Montana. Smonster, happy birthday!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Oof, cutiehead newborns still make my ovaries ache.

Jessica, you're making a sound decision.

As much fun as I have with mine, I'm a shade crazier than I was just two short years ago.

Besides Owen's new found trumpeting abilities, Liv is now playing the ukulele.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

And I got forgiven because i took the kids on a field trip with friend's dh and she could spend some time with her daughter.

YOU got forgiven? For...asking them not to play the TV loud next to your sleeping child and being reluctant to let someone fill your laptop with crap? Ooookay.

Honey, ijs, with friends like these...

Meanwhile, Buffistababies = teh cute!

TCG is out putting the band equipment back at the studio where it is kept, and I just finished wrapping all his birthday gifts. His birthday is tomorrow!

ION, I think I got sunburned today.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

We went to a new-to-us playground this afternoon - I think Jilli and Plei (and others) will appreciate this wacky Tim-Burton-meets-MC-Escher bridge thing we found.

This was a very productive weekend - we put the playard into storage downstairs, moved the giant storage table from Dylan's room into ours, and rearranged what was left in his room to be much more play-friendly. Also sold a ginormous bag of outgrown baby clothes and 3 useless gates to other new parents. Score!

[eta: Also, toddler iPhone. (Get it? 'Cause it's an apple...?)]
