Zoe: Captain will come up with a plan. Kaylee: That's good. Right? Zoe: Possibly you're not recalling some of his previous plans.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

Is she going to the Villages? That place needs nuts. I think it is part of the "deed restriction" that everyone own a golf cart.

Yep-- that's where she's going.

nd he went and scheduled something (I have no idea what, could be anything from a golf game to a fund-raiser for something or other) for noon next Sunday and is astonished that this isn't totally convenient for everyone else.

JZ, do you mean, he scheduled something else that's not Matilda-centric and is now expecting you guys to arrange your schedules around it?

And I feel your pain on the feeling like you're the only one who arranges and concerns yourself with others. ::hugs JZ::

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

JZ, do you mean, he scheduled something else that's not Matilda-centric and is now expecting you guys to arrange your schedules around it?

Barb, yes, that exactly. And when I emailed him back pointing out that the only other time that would work, his entire response was "Yes, Saturday night could work..."

Um. No. Ask me how much Hec and Emmett are going to want to drive across the bridge on a Saturday evening, how much my mom and aunt are going to want to haul ass into Oakland after full days of working retail, and how completely stupid it is to have a two-year-old's birthday at seven on a Saturday night.

I think we're going to just move it to a park near his house at two and tell him, "Make it when and if you can; the people who take precedence are the guy with the non-refundable ticket and the birthday girl herself, and this is what works for them."

Because, you know, I'm always straightforward and honest and forthright with my dad just like that, and it'll be just that easy.

Thank God my evening plans tonight consist of "Go drink vodka with megan, juliana and Perkins."

I wish I could be there.

Your solution sounds like a good one, JZ. I hope it goes smoothly.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Sorry ,dad isn't paying attention to the fact that not everything can be arranged just for him.Isn't that something we learn as children?

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Yep-- that's where she's going.

Eep, those old people will probably love her. However, if they forget to take their meds they might forget by morning.

And I feel your pain on the feeling like you're the only one who arranges and concerns yourself with others. ::hugs JZ::

I second that.

Thank God my evening plans tonight consist of "Go drink vodka with megan, juliana and Perkins."

Good for you. Have fun. You deserve it.

The status is NOT quo.

JZ, I'm sorry about the frustration with your dad. Fwiw, I think you're handling it perfectly.

Thank God my evening plans tonight consist of "Go drink vodka with megan, juliana and Perkins."

t looks around hopefully for a teleporter

I hadn't heard that polling news. YAY! I'm going to cling to that happy, oh yes I am.

I'm half-heartedly working as NoiseDesign, Sean, MiracleMan, and our friend Eric game a few feet away. I've missed this group together. Now if only Aimee were here so we could be gossiping and laughing in the background.

That sounds like much deserved fun for all the guys.

JZ, I'm sorry your dad is being so insensitive to how difficult things can sometimes be with little ones. Have fun tonight!

We're currently eating yummy food, drinking wine, and catching up on this weeks TV that we have not seen yet.

Someone upstairs (I'm assuming either the mother or the teenage son) is leaving cigarette butts all over our driveway and on the grass on the side of the house. Do I say something to the mother or to the landlord? And what do I say.

Signed,

Sucks at confrontation.
